Dataoorts GPU Marketplace API

Welcome to the official API documentation for the Dataoorts GPU Marketplace. This platform allows GPU providers to list their computing resources and enables administrators to manage the entire ecosystem. This document provides a high-level overview of the available API endpoints.

General Concepts

Before using the API, please review these fundamental principles.

Authentication

The API uses a key-based authentication model. All protected requests must include an x-api-key header.

  • Admin Key: A master key providing full access to all API endpoints. For administrative use only.
  • Provider Key: A unique key assigned to each provider, granting access to manage their own resources.

Base URL

All endpoint paths in this document are relative to the base URL:

https://offers.dataoorts.com/api/v1

Data Format

The API exclusively uses JSON for all request bodies and responses. Ensure your POST and PATCH requests include the header:
Content-Type: application/json

Admin API Overview

As an Admin, you have global permissions to manage every aspect of the marketplace.

Provider Management

You can perform full lifecycle management of provider accounts.

  • POST /admin/providers: Create a new provider. The system generates a unique Provider ID and API Key and sends them in a welcome email.
  • GET /admin/providers: Retrieve a complete list of all registered providers and their details.
  • PATCH /admin/providers/{pro_id}: Modify a specific provider's details, such as their instance_limit or retention_month.
  • DELETE /providers/{pro_id}: Permanently delete a provider and all of their associated instances. This action is irreversible.

Instance Management

You have oversight and control over all instances listed on the platform.

  • PATCH /admin/instances/{instance_id}/feature-status: Mark or unmark any instance as "featured" to highlight it on the platform.
  • DELETE /instances/{instance_id}: Delete any instance from the marketplace, regardless of who owns it.
  • DELETE /providers/{pro_id}/instances: Delete all instances belonging to a specific provider without deleting the provider's account.

System & User Management --> Super Admin Only

You can manage system-level tasks and user data.

  • GET /users: Retrieve a list of all users who have subscribed to the platform's newsletter or updates.
  • POST /cleanup_instances: Manually trigger the cron job that cleans up and deletes instances that have exceeded their retention period.

Provider API Overview

As a Provider, you have access to endpoints to manage your own account and instance listings. Your unique API key authenticates you.

Your Instance Management

Manage your portfolio of GPU offerings on the marketplace.

  • POST /instances: Create and list a new GPU instance. The request will fail if you have reached your instance_limit.
  • DELETE /instances/{instance_id}: Delete one of your own instances from the marketplace.
  • DELETE /providers/{your_pro_id}/instances: Delete all of your listed instances in a single API call.

Account Management

Manage your personal provider account details and security.

  • GET /provider/me: View your "dashboard," which includes your provider details and a list of all your active instances.
  • PATCH /providers/{your_pro_id}/api-key: Reset your API key. Your old key will be immediately invalidated, and a new one will be generated and returned in the response.
  • DELETE /providers/{your_pro_id}: Permanently delete your provider account. This will also delete all of your instances and is irreversible.

Public API Endpoints

These endpoints are publicly accessible and do not require an API key, but they are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

  • GET /public/instances: Fetch a list of all active instance listings on the marketplace.
